Man,” is on a farewell tour that includes the Estoril Open. The former world No. 3 has won 16 career titles, including Roland Garros in 2015 (and was runner-up in 2017), the Australian Open in 2014, and the US Open in 2016. He also secured an Olympic doubles gold medal with Roger Federer in Beijing 2008, having been professional since 2002.
Gaël Monfils, 39, known as “La Monf,” has earned a special place in tennis due to his spectacular and irreverent style of play, which has brought him 13 ATP titles. The former world No. 6 reached three Masters 1000 finals and the semifinals of Roland Garros in 2008 and the US Open in 2016, his best results in majors.
Both veterans will thus compete in the main draw of the French Open, the second Grand Slam of the season, for the last time. The tournament runs from May 24 to June 7 in Paris.
